CommUUnity Gala Tickets / Ads / Donations

The Unitarian Universalist Society of Schenectady is holding a unique fundraiser on October 17, 2026. It will be great fun with live music, dancing, food, raffles, and a bit of the congregation’s 125 year history, held in the ballroom of Union College’s “College Park Hall” at 450 Nott Street. More importantly, that evening we will present awards to three local individuals who, through their organizations, have long been community leaders and have benefited us all by bringing more Compassion, Justice, or Joy to the Schenectady region.

We are delighted that on October 17, the award for:
- Compassion will go to Maura Furey and Street Soldiers of Schenectady,
- Justice will go to Mark King and the Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy, and
- Joy will go to Mona Golub and Music Haven.
